The first keynote speaker, Dr. Satoshi Matsuoka, described &#8220;solar compute tiles&#8221; &#8212; essentially the same idea that I suggested in <a href=\"http:\/\/stevenrbrandt.com\/wordpress\/?p=81\">previous post entitled &#8220;Infinite Sunshine Computing.&#8221;<\/a><\/p>\n<p>His group has apparently been working on this idea for quite a while now and has prototypes. He showed some in his talk, but alas I don&#8217;t have any images to link to.
