Clearly, belief in God is not required for morality, and many who profess belief in God are less moral than many who don&#8217;t.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ncl.ac.uk\/press.office\/press.release\/item\/?ref=1151491586\">A study was done<\/a> which reached the unsurprising conclusion that people behave more ethically when they believe they are being watched. It occurs to me that any person who really believes a god or gods or whatever is watching them would behave more honestly.
